Granite countertops should be polished about every 5-15 years depending on the wear and use. After polishing your countertops, they should also be sealed to keep them looking new for the next few years until they need to be re-polished.
How do you clean granite countertops?
Granite countertops can be cleaned much in the same way as other types of countertops. It is always best to use warm soap and water with a non-abrasive cleaning sponge or cloth. Remember to never use abrasive cleaners such as soft-scrub as this may scratch the protective layer or the stone itself.
